DPR Construction is seeking a Drywall Estimator with at least 3 years of commercial construction experience. Estimators will work on commercial projects within our core markets: healthcare, advanced technology, higher education, life sciences, and corporate office. Senior estimators collaborate closely with GC teams, architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors.

• Handle projects from initial estimate through contract formalization.
• Conduct comprehensive drywall cost evaluations, anticipating needs beyond provided information.
• Create innovative solutions to complex cost, lead-time, and material issues.
• Prepare detailed conceptual cost estimates and studies from schematic or feasibility documentation.
• Develop variance summaries between estimates and design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Compile and present complete estimate packages to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with the project team to establish staffing and project requirements.
• Apply knowledge of unit costs and construction cost drivers.
• Draft instructions to bidders, trade‑specific clarifications, and comprehensive bid packages for sub‑tiers.
• Manage the bidding process, including soliciting bids, evaluating proposals, and using bid tally sheets.
• Work with Operations teams to refine estimates and ensure alignment with schedule and logistics.
• Recommend subcontractor awards and negotiate final subcontracts.
• Participate in RFP responses and formal project presentations.
• Lead value‑engineering sessions with project and design teams.
• Review contracts to identify key risks affecting drywall estimates.
• Lead, manage, and motivate project teams during pre‑construction.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, estimating software (Win Est or similar), take‑off software (On‑Screen Takeoff or similar), BIM tools (Revit, Assemble, etc.), project management software (CMiC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).
• 3–5 years of commercial construction estimating experience, preferably within DPR’s core markets.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.
• Strong work ethic and a “can‑do” attitude.
