. Salary: $37,000–$62,500, Austin, TX.
As a General Laborer, you will perform general construction tasks, supporting the crew as needed. Duties include loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials; measuring distances; earth digging; cable laying; and general manual labor using tools and equipment.
Job Responsibilities- Assist crew leader in construction work
- Complete duties as assigned
- Operate machinery, vehicles, and other necessary tools
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials
- Open trenches, restore trenches using hand tools and/or power equipment
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
