- Perform routine quality‑control tests, including concrete and nuclear moisture/density testing
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Prepare and submit daily reports
- Interact with clients, contractors and design professionals
- Attend job‑site meetings
- Operate testing equipment in laboratories
- Pursue continuing education and role‑specific certifications
- Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license with clean record; ability to pass a drug test
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and in a team; maintain composure in a high‑pressure setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Experience with a company laptop or iPad; knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Construction or technical training
- Valid ICC Certifications in Reinforced Concrete and Soils
- Valid OSHA‑10 Certification
- Bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, and lift over 50 pounds using equipment
- Operate heavy equipment as necessary (ultrasonic non‑destructive testing machines, concrete cylinder presses, etc.)
- Maintain safe mobility over obstacles, walkways and ladders; traverse rough terrain
- Work outdoors in variable weather; lab safety protection as required
While most work is local to the Austin‑Metro area, some travel may be required.
