Construction Superintendent – Austin, TX

Scott Humphrey Corporation is recruiting for a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects at a reputable Austin construction firm.

Base Pay Range: $/yr - $/yr (actual pay based on experience)

• Lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
• Manage jobsite safety, scheduling, and construction sequencing
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times
• Conduct quality control inspections and manage punch lists
• Drive project schedules and proactively resolve field challenges
• Partner closely with Project Managers and project teams
• Participate in preconstruction planning and constructability reviews
• Oversee project closeout and turnover

• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
• Proven experience with ground-up and/or complex commercial builds
• Background across commercial sectors such as Office, Retail, Hospitality, Education
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing and means & methods
• OSHA certification preferred
