Construction Manager/ Foreman, Site Manager
You will assist both construction and maintenance field operations with organization and preparation of documents for respective projects and project correspondence/communication. You must be able to generate supplemental documents (ex: drawings, schedules, spreadsheets, cost comparisons, project submittals, & change orders) along with driving production in the field and tending to client needs swiftly.
FIELD PROJECT MANAGER DUTIES INCLUDEthe following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
- Preparing and processing memorandums, submittal document preparation, spreadsheets for cost analysis and breakdowns.
- Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
- Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of construction, maintenance, or subcontracted workers in the field
- Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
- Coordinate work activities with other site activities.
- Order or requisition materials, supplies, or equipment.
- Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment.
- Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.
- Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.
- Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.
- Arrange for repairs of equipment or machinery.
- Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met.
- Business development activities to help grow business with high profile clients
- Associate's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Drafting/Design or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficient with Auto Desk Forma, Procore, or the like
- Able to read and understand project blueprints and contract documents
- General understanding of the construction management process and construction project life cycle
- Be able to take criticism, as well as communicate effectively via documentation (i.e.: emails, drawings), phone, and in person
- Possess general knowledge and understanding of plumbing, concrete, earthwork, and landscaping
- Must possess great organizational skills and be able to multitask and self-manage yourself with several tasks able to prioritize and maintain a work schedule
- $70,000 - $90,000 annually
