Price the work and win it. You read plans, walk sites and build bid-ready scopes for commercial, municipal and new construction paving and striping packages.
What you will do- Take off quantities from plans and specifications for paving, striping, concrete and signage scopes.
- Walk sites, measure existing conditions and photograph what the plans do not show.
- Build proposals that state scope, phasing and exclusions and clearly identify the SOW proposed.
- Work with general contractors and property managers through bid questions and revisions.
- Deliver awarded jobs to field operations in detail of production needs.
- Experience estimating paving, striping, concrete or a related civil trade, preferred but not required.
- Able to read construction plans and specifications.
- Comfortable with takeoff and spreadsheet tools.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to sites across Central Texas.
- Experience with municipal or TxDOT work.
- ADA compliance knowledge.
- Existing relationships with Central Texas general contractors.
