We're conducting a confidential search for a senior estimating leader in Austin, Texas.
Chief Estimator / Director of Preconstruction & EstimatingCommercial Plumbing + Underground Wet Utilities
Austin, TX | In-office | $175K+ DOE
We're looking for someone who has led estimating and preconstruction efforts for large commercial construction projects and understands the details behind both plumbing and wet utility scopes.
The right person will likely have experience with:
- Leading or mentoring estimators
- Bid strategy and final bid review
- Large commercial projects including schools, healthcare, multifamily, and ground-up construction
- Working closely with operations, project management, and executive leadership
- Managing multiple bids, backlog, manpower considerations, and preconstruction planning
This is not just a desk estimating position. We're looking for someone who can lead the department, help shape strategy, and still understands the work at a detailed level.
Compensation starts around $175,000+, depending on experience, with full benefits and a significant bonus/equity opportunity.
This position is based at the company’s headquarters in Southwest Austin and is not remote.
