Multimedia Journalist

JOB DESCRIPTION

CBS Austin is seeking a Multi-Media Journalist. Your responsibilities will include reporting, shooting, and editing news stories, developing story ideas, and building contacts. You will produce daily content across multiple platforms, including the internet, social media, mobile phones, and television.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong news judgment
• Ability to tell stories in an NPPA style
• Excellent technical skills
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license and good driving record

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years reporting experience
• Experience with live shots
• Experience with Live-U is a plus
