Austin’s Mix 94.7 (KAMX-FM) is looking for the next great talent to join Booker and Alex, the morning show named “Best Radio Personality in Austin” — seven times!

We’re searching for someone who’s smart, curious, funny, fearless, and authentic — someone who connects with listeners naturally both on-air and online.

• Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
• Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence.
• Protect the station’s FCC license.
• Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift.
• Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly.
• Operate the control board and perform production work.
• Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts.
• Other duties as required by management.

• Strong conversationalist and storyteller.
• Listens as well as they talk.
• Comes to work prepared, organized, and full of ideas.
• Shares their life in relatable, entertaining ways.
• Has excellent social media instincts and can create content that connects.
• Has creative writing and video production skills (big plus!).
• We’re looking for a team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced, competitive environment and is driven to make great radio and digital content every day.
• A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance is required.

• Previous on‑air experience is not required — but a passion for pop culture, entertainment, and building audience connection absolutely is.
