Directing Web Series

Position: Directing for Web Series
Seeking an experienced Director for a dynamic web series filming in Austin, TX, with principal photography planned for around November 4, 2026. This independent production is a character-driven, dark comedy with surreal elements, exploring modern anxieties through a unique lens. We're looking for someone who can bring a strong visual style and compelling performances to our 6-episode arc, with each episode running 10-15 minutes.

This is a passion project with significant potential for film festival submission and platform distribution. The estimated shoot schedule is 12-15 days, spread over approximately 3-4 weeks. As Director, you will be responsible for bringing the script to life, guiding actors, collaborating with the DP and department heads, and maintaining the artistic vision from pre-production through principal photography. We are seeking a senior-level filmmaker with a proven track record of directing narrative content, preferably with experience in web series or short-form.

A strong reel showcasing your ability to evoke tone, direct performances, and tell a visual story is essential. Personal gear is not required, but a familiarity with digital cinema workflows is a must. Compensation for this role is a partnership stake, offering a percentage of revenue share upon distribution. We will provide all necessary production equipment, crew, and a dedicated production team to support your vision.
