Block Reel in Austin, TX seeks a mid-level Gaffer to execute the DP's lighting plan on a visually driven independent short. You will lead a small lighting team, set up LED, HMI and tungsten gear, and troubleshoot on set within a tight budget for a 3–4 day shoot around November 16, 2026.
Prep days 1–2, 10–12 hour days, production insurance provided, lunch and craft services daily, with the opportunity to contribute creatively through power distribution and safe electrical operation.
