Director for Psychedelic Pop Music Video

Seeking a Senior Director to bring a vibrant, psychedelic vision to life for an independent pop music video. The project features a rising Austin-based artist, exploring themes of escapism and transformation through colorful, surreal visuals. We're looking for someone with a strong artistic voice who can translate abstract concepts into compelling on-screen narratives. Key responsibilities include developing a detailed shot list, guiding talent performances, overseeing crew, and ensuring the final visual narrative aligns with the artist's creative direction.

We need a director who can confidently lead a small team and maintain a dynamic, positive set environment. You should have extensive experience directing music videos or short-form narrative content, a strong reel demonstrating visual storytelling prowess, and the ability to work collaboratively within a tight production schedule. Shoot dates are approximately 1-2 days during the first half of December 2026, with an additional 1-2 days for prep and concept finalization in late November.

We will provide catering, transportation for crew on shoot days, and all necessary production equipment. This is a paid position, offering $300-500/day, commensurate with experience.
