An experienced videographer and content creator with access to a quality camera package: camera, gimbal, and a light attachment suitable for low-light filming, a quality smartphone for vertical capture, and post-production tools for completing cuts of the footage.
Stage 32 is hiring a videographer/content creator to capture our presence at the 2026 Austin Film Festival in Downtown Austin.
The gig: Over 4 days during AFF week (October 28th through 31st), you’ll shoot a mix of full frame and vertical content covering:
- The Stage 32 table beside festival registration on Thursday and Friday
- The 13th Annual Stage 32 Rooftop Bash on Friday night at the Speakeasy (a low-light rooftop party, so you need the glass and lighting to handle it), 7:30 pm- 11:00 pm
- Stage 32 team and members networking and celebrating Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings
- B-roll of the festival itself around Downtown Austin
Your footage will become reels, recap videos, and promotional content for a global community of 1.5 million members, with every frame representing the energy of this community in person.
What you need to bring:
- Your own quality camera package: camera, gimbal, and a light attachment suitable for low-light filming at the rooftop party
- A quality smartphone for vertical capture
- Experience shooting live events, parties, or festivals, and comfort working in crowded rooms
- Availability for all 4 days, on-site in Austin (local to Austin or attending AFF is ideal)
We may require editing and color grading work to help complete cuts of the footage in the weeks following the events.
This is a paid position.
