We are a US based insurance agency. We help small business owners start retirement plans using the tax credits created by the SECURE 2.0 Act, and we help them with their health, life and disability benefits.
Business owners arrive from Linked In, use a calculator, and book a call with the founder. Every
page has one job: get them to book.
We need a designer who can do two things well. Design the website that does that job. And design the presentation decks the founder uses in front of business owners and insurance carriers.
You will work with the founder and with a developer who builds in Word Press Gutenberg blocks. You design; he implements. You will not be expected to write code.
What you will designWebsite pages. Landing pages, calculator pages, an about page, trust and licence pages. Desktop and mobile for every one. Conversion focused, one clear action per page, fast to load.
The brand. Take a chosen logo concept and produce proper vector files, a small brand sheet with the palette and type scale, and the social profile assets.
Presentation decks. Sales decks for business owners, carrier and FMO decks, and a reusable
PowerPoint template the founder can edit himself without breaking it.
Lead magnets. One or two short PDF guides, laid out properly.
Social graphics for Linked In. Post images and a banner.
Email templates. Simple, on brand, readable on a phone.
Must have- Strong Figma skills. You work in Figma, not just export images from it.
- A portfolio of real web or landing page work with a conversion goal behind it.
- Genuine PowerPoint ability, including master slides and a template someone else can edit.
- Confident typography and layout. You can hold a hierarchy together.
- Mobile first thinking. You design the 375 pixel version properly, not as an afterthought.
- Adobe Illustrator for vector work.
- Branding and logo design experience with delivered vector files.
- Financial, insurance or B2B experience.
- Basic accessibility awareness, particularly colour contrast.
- HTML and CSS literacy, enough to talk to a developer without friction.
- Familiarity with Word Press Gutenberg block constraints.
Experience:
2 to 5 years. Strong portfolio matters more than years.
Location:
Remote, with at least four hours of overlap with US Eastern time.
