• NPI Test Bay Setup and Preventative Maintenance – sets up test bay fixtures and required facilities to test chambers; installs correct software versions before chamber moves; checks HVAC, chiller levels, PCW flow, communication cables, MOXA addresses, and process kit audits; leads procurement and maintenance of test equipment.
• New Product Test Ticket Management – manages test tickets for new products on both the NPI and volume manufacturing lines, including troubleshooting, working with NPI and NPT Manufacturing Engineers, and documenting the resolution.
• Test Cable Assembly – assembles new test cables and jumpers for chambers, gen racks, and peripheral equipment.
• Supporting Manufacturing Engineers – assists MEs in carrying out projects to upgrade, deploy, repair, and correct test bays and fixtures; documents and provides important feedback to eliminate future test issues.
• Rework – assists with rework activity, such as mechanical repair, related to DMRs or part number changes.

This is a physically demanding position that often requires standing for extended periods, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, distinguishing between colors, working in a noisy environment, using hand and power tools, and operating heavy machinery including forklifts. Because the position involves working in a clean room, appropriate personal protective equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.

This position requires experience in testing and troubleshooting complex chambers without engineering support. Must be proficient in researching and resolving issues, communicating complex information, and must be able to work independently without regular supervision.
