Business Development Manager – Austin/San Antonio, TX
Forms+Surfaces is a leading designer and manufacturer of architectural products used in public spaces around the globe. Our growing brand includes surface materials, elevator interiors, doors and hardware, information displays, wall systems, columns, railing, and outdoor site furniture. We are seeking an experienced Architectural Sales professional for the position of Business Development Manager, Austin/San Antonio, Texas Region, focused on our Architectural Products/Surfaces.
Beyond strong sales skills, the ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Strong, experience-based understanding of the A&D community; proven success working with architects, contractors, designers, landscape architects, facility owners, and other specifiers. Ability to craft technical, substitution-proof specifications and follow them through bidding and ordering cycles.
- In-depth knowledge of specifiers needs, requirements, and concerns; ability to offer creative solutions. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communications and organizational skills, with the ability to fully utilize our CRM software and other technologies.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and engaging team members across Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Design to accomplish common goals.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate Architect/Landscape Architect/Designer (or related) with some specific technical architectural or related experience before transitioning into a sales role calling on end-users in the A&D community. Strong local A&D contacts are required to be considered.
Local candidates only; experience within the A&D or related community is preferred.
