This individual will play a key role in managing project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and communication—while also participating in design and production on select projects. Position OverviewThe Landscape Architect Project Manager is a hybrid role that blends project leadership with hands‑on design involvement. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously—ensuring clarity, accountability, and excellence throughout the lifecycle of each project. This role requires a highly organized, self‑directed professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and can adapt quickly to evolving project needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project schedules, budgets, and milestone tracking.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Coordinate project staffing and manage project team performance.
- Ensure deliverables are produced accurately, on time, and within budget.
- Provide clarity on scope, expectations, and required outcomes for each phase.
- Contribute to concept development, site planning, graphics, and technical detailing.
- Prepare or oversee construction documents, presentations, and illustrations.
- Integrate feedback from clients, jurisdictions, and design leadership.
- Support studio‑wide design culture through collaboration and mentorship.
- Maintain consistent communication with project stakeholders.
- Document decisions, follow‑ups, and coordination needs.
- Facilitate consultant meetings and internal coordination sessions.
- Represent LSI professionally with clients, jurisdictions, and community partners.
- Identify opportunities to improve project workflow and team efficiency.
- Support the development of standards, processes, and best practices.
- Contribute to resource planning and workload forecasting.
- Uphold LSI’s mission, vision, and values in all design and business operations.
- Degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or MLA required).
- 4–10 years of experience in professional practice.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex design projects.
- Strong technical skills—AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up.
- Knowledge of LandF/X, Revit, Lumion, or similar tools highly valued.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative studio environment.
