FreeCAD Experts

We're looking for professionals who use FreeCAD as part of their day-to-day workflow. Selected contributors will be paid to record their real workflows using a lightweight app we provide. Relevant backgrounds include mechanical engineers, product designers, architects and BIM professionals, CNC machinists and fabricators, simulation engineers, and 3D printing specialists who regularly create precision 2D sketches and parametric 3D solid models.

Requirements:

• Use our recording software to capture and submit sessions
• Record real, day-to-day work - sessions must be continuous and unedited
• Avoid capturing confidential, proprietary, or sensitive data (including passwords and personal data)
• Idle or low-activity sessions will not be paid
• You must use a windows computer. MacOS is not currently supported.

Sample Tasks:

• Create a constrained 2D sketch in FreeCAD using the Sketcher workbench, specifying dimensions and applying geometric constraints.
• Extrude or revolve a sketch to create a 3D solid body, then apply additional features such as pockets, fillets, or chamfers.
