Overview

Day Pediatric Interventional Radiologist - Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging) seeks a pediatric interventional radiologist for a partnership-track position in Central Texas.

Location:

Dell Children’s Medical Center and contract sites in the Austin area. The section provides pediatric radiology and interventional services with 24/7 support and a growing program.

• Practice at a tertiary referral center with broad spectrum of interventional cases (vascular access, biopsies, drain/tube placement, GU and hepatobiliary procedures, arterial and venous interventions, and management of vascular malformations).
• Support pediatric diagnostic exams and neuro-interventional radiology as needed.
• Collaborate with a pediatric IR APP; anticipate additional hires to support section needs.
• Approximately q5-6 call frequency, shared equally by the section; generous hourly callback stipend for after-hours procedures.
• Opportunities for leadership, education, and research; leadership positions available within the practice and at contract sites.
• Serve as primary teaching faculty for the UT Dell Medical School radiology residency program.

• Completion of pediatric IR fellowship or formal experience in pediatric IR
