Cardiology - Heart Failure and Transplant Physician

Staff Med Health Partners has partnered with the largest Cardiology group in Central Texas to assist them with recruiting an additional heart failure and transplant cardiologist to join an employed group in Central Austin, TX.

Practice Highlights /Qualifications:

• Board certified cardiologist and board eligible/board certified in heart failure and transplant
• Licensed in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
• Joining two heart failure physicians at our Heart Hospital
• Looking to possibly start transplant program
• Heart Hospital is a 72-bed hospital and one of the highest performing cardiovascular facilities in the nation, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease
• It features a comprehensive 24-hour emergency department; an advanced executive wellness program; six operating rooms (ORs), including three hybrid ORs; three catheterization labs; and electrophysiology services
• It is home to one of the largest non-academic cardiovascular research programs in the world

The group is the largest cardiology group in Central Texas with 48 physicians, 50 APP's and 245 employees. They have been serving the community for over 25 years in our 14 full time offices covering a service area the size of the state of Maryland. They have a mature, robust structural program, cardiac MR and adult congenital, in addition to an active LVAD/ECMO and advanced heart failure program.

The group offers comprehensive clinical services including a strong research program.
