Are you a passionate and skilled plastic surgeon looking for an exciting opportunity in a vibrant community? St. David's South Austin Medical Center, a Level II trauma center in Austin, TX, is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible plastic surgeon with fellowship training in microvascular/reconstructive surgery. If you have experience in breast reconstruction using DIEP flap techniques, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you'll enjoy a balanced caseload that includes:

• Outpatient elective breast reconstruction
• Trauma plastics cases
• Opportunities to build both reconstructive hospital and outpatient cosmetic practices

• Provide exceptional care in microvascular/reconstructive plastic surgery
• Support trauma micro hand/plastics call at our Level II trauma center
• Engage in a mix of 50% outpatient/elective breast reconstruction and 50% trauma plastics inpatient/outpatient
• Participate in trauma plastic call and micro hand call

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Board certified/board eligible in plastic surgery with fellowship training in microvascular/reconstructive surgery
• Licensed in Texas or eligible to obtain a license
• Experience in breast reconstructive surgery with DIEP flap techniques
• At least 300+ free flaps performed during training
• A strong interest in developing a breast reconstruction program
