This Level 2 trauma facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient gastroenterology locum tenens coverage. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care, with RN support staff available to assist with clinical operations. Locum tenens gastroenterology coverage is sought beginning in early December 2026 on an ongoing basis.

Austin offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Lady Bird Lake provides opportunities for paddle boarding, kayaking, and walking along hiking and biking trails, while Zilker Park offers green space and seasonal events including light displays at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Cultural attractions include the Blanton Museum of Art, live music venues, performing arts events, and immersive art exhibits, providing clinicians with diverse options during time away from clinical responsibilities.

The gastroenterologist will provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage on a day shift basis with call required at this on-site facility. Clinical responsibilities include managing inpatient gastroenterology cases and performing ERCP as a required component of this assignment. Call coverage is an integral part of this locum tenens engagement, and RN support is available throughout each assigned coverage period. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for all clinicians considered for this role.
