ABOUT US:Life Family is a Non‑Denominational Christian church that believes every person's life can be transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. We have multiple locations in Austin, Texas and the surrounding area.
JOB OVERVIEW:The Life Students Director is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the spiritual growth and development of students from 6th through 12th grade. They will cast vision, protect culture, and champion the programming of the Student Ministry for their campus in step with the central Life Family team.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:- Work with Campus Pastor, Lead Life Students Director, and other Life Students Directors/Coordinators to develop, implement, and execute curriculum, events, strategy, and vision for Life Students.
- Design and implement engaging programs, events, and Life Groups that promote spiritual growth and community among students.
- Recruit, train, and mentor Life Students Serve Team members to effectively serve in the student ministry.
- Foster strong connections with students, providing pastoral care and guidance as they navigate their faith journey.
- Collaborate with parents and families, offering resources and support to encourage their involvement in the ministry.
- Plan and execute worship services, special events, and service projects that enrich students’ spiritual lives.
- Maintain consistent communication with students, families, and church leadership regarding ministry activities and opportunities.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of programs, gathering feedback to continuously improve and adapt the ministry to meet students’ needs.
- Mature Christian who calls Life Family Church home and supports the church’s culture, vision, and values.
- Bachelor’s degree in ministry, education, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in youth ministry or a similar ministry role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to connect with and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- A deep commitment to the mission and values of Life Family.
- Monday-Thursday 9:00 am-4:30 pm
- Sunday 8:00 am-2:00 pm
- Participate in church services, All Staff events, and other events as needed.
