Associate Pastor – Next Generation Ministries
Job Summary
The Associate Pastor of Next Generation Ministries is responsible for the overall coordination and leadership of all next-generation ministries on campus. This role includes oversight of student ministry, kids ministry, parent engagement and development, camps and student missions coordination, life groups, and leading specific campus initiatives as needed. The Associate Pastor is also expected to serve, lead, and preach as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead all next-generation ministries, including student ministry, kids ministry, parent engagement and development, camps, student missions coordination, and oversight of life groups
- Lead specific campus initiatives when needed, such as missions trips, community outreach, and major calendar events including Christmas Eve and Easter
- Service lead well, including welcoming, announcements, calling to worship, and service wrap-up
- Preach as needed
- Provide general pastoral oversight of the campus in the absence of the Campus Pastor
Qualifications
- Authentic personal relationship with the Lord
- Strong alignment with the mission and vision of the church
- Bachelor’s degree in theology or a related field
- Master of Divinity preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in student or youth ministry
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for working with young people
Compensation
$62,000 annually with benefits, including health insurance
Timeline
