Description

  • The Early Learning Manager will play a key role in leading a team of specialists who will implement the state required academies. This manager will also serve as a special projects leader within the Early Learning Instructional Strategy team.
  • Manage and coach an assigned team of Early Learning Specialists to support implementation of state required academies, district curriculum, assessments, and instructional practices
  • Ensure HB3 requirements are implemented with fidelity and in full compliance of the program
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to program standards.
  • Collaborate across other teams in Early Learning, as well as Academic Services, and School Leadership to facilitate program implementation
  • Monitor and ensure coaching touchpoints are completed
  • Stay abreast on latest developments, research, and best practices in accordance TEA guidelines.
  • Directly manage and lead special projects in Early Learning.
  • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required.
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
  • Valid Texas Teacher Certificate with required endorsements for subject and subject level assigned preferred.
  • 5+ direct years of experience in implementing education programs.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Early Childhood curriculum including the TEKS and Pre Kindergarten Guidelines, PreK3-2nd grade.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in managing multiple subordinates.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large scale projects.
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position.
  • Ability to build teamwork and work well with others and take initiative.
