Communities In Schools of Central Texas seeks a full‑time Program Manager to lead services at Marshall Middle School in Austin, TX. The role integrates CIS programming with school activities, supports student goal setting, engages families, and helps every student reach their full potential.
What You’ll Do- Program Administration – Conduct needs assessments, design program supports, maintain student referral processes, and implement data management and evaluation systems.
- Campus Team Management – Hire, onboard, train, and supervise team members; develop professional development plans; conduct staff reviews and maintain agency culture.
- Student Services – Provide individual counseling, facilitate groups, manage case referral and crisis management.
- Campus and Community Relationships – Represent CIS at school and community meetings; organize events and advocate program access.
- Middle school‑level experience and crisis intervention experience.
- Experience providing individual supportive guidance and case management services.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field (or equivalent).
- Experience managing individuals or teams, and supervising interns or volunteers.
- English/Spanish proficiency (preferred).
- Current CPR certification (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competence, and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Starting salary $3,750/mo.

Position is supervised by a Program Director for Campus‑Based Services and may supervise Ameri Corps members, interns, and volunteers.
WorksiteFull‑time at the school campus site; follows campus work hours. Occasional evening work and travel between the administrative office in Austin and the campus site may be required.
