OverviewCommunities In Schools of Central Texas (CIS) is a national nonprofit that supports students. CIS seeks a full‑time Program Manager to lead services at Padron Elementary School. The role interfaces with school administrators, integrates CIS programming, empowers students, fosters parent engagement, and ensures student success.
What You’ll Do- Program Administration – Design programs, conduct needs assessments, manage data, evaluate program effectiveness.
- Campus Team Management – Hire, onboard, train, supervise team members, develop professional development plans, conduct evaluations.
- Student Services – Provide individual counseling, facilitate groups, manage crisis, conduct parental outreach.
- Campus and Community Relationships – Represent CIS, organize events, advocate for program, host open houses.
- Conduct needs assessments and inform program design.
- Maintain positive relationships with campus personnel and establish student referral processes.
- Implement data management systems for evaluation.
- Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and training of staff.
- Provide ongoing supervision and conduct staff evaluations.
- Provide individual counseling, facilitate groups and crisis management.
- Conduct outreach to parents and develop parental involvement.
- Represent CIS at school and community meetings and events.
- Organize and coordinate school and community events and advocate for the program.
- Elementary school‑level experience.
- Experience with crisis intervention, assessments, referrals, counseling.
- English/Spanish proficiency (highly preferred).
- Experience managing individuals or teams.
- Case management experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Starting salary $3,750/month.

The position is supervised by the Program Director for Campus-Based Services and may supervise Ameri Corps members, interns, and/or volunteers.
WorksiteFull‑time at the school campus site. Campus work hours. Occasional evening work and travel between the administrative office in Austin and the campus site may be required.
