Overview
Manager, Strategy & Initiatives – Facilitation & Learning Experiences at Charles Schwab.
Responsibilities- Facilitating CRSU, FCA and other early talent program live sessions throughout the year.
- Supporting other learning programs through facilitation of coaching and training sessions and building course outlines for new content as needed.
- Providing input to improve the operational efficiency of the live training experience.
- Coordinating with business partners, program owners, content developers, and Instructional Designers to create engaging and impactful learning solutions and ensuring diverse modalities are leveraged.
- Delivering impactful live training and coaching sessions that provide practical application opportunities to new hires.
- Creating a learning environment where learners feel safe and comfortable to ask questions, share knowledge, and learn from one another.
- Using dynamic facilitation tools (polling, breakout groups, collaborative tools) to keep virtual learners engaged and connected.
- Building strong, effective, and collaborative relationships with our internal team and cross-functionally with other L&D partners.
- Drafting content outlines and working with instructional design teams.
- Engaging others in open dialogue and influencing approach to gain support from various stakeholders who may have different priorities.
- Being enthusiastic about Learning & Development, self‑motivated, results oriented and able to drive organizational change.
- BA/BS required in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field or experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.
- Must have 2+ years in Learning & Development or equivalent experience with understanding of facilitation skills and techniques.
- Track record of developing and implementing successful projects or programs with cross‑functional departments.
- Understanding of Schwab’s retail business including service and branch organizations.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability as a self‑starter, and demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous and always fast‑moving work environment.
