Required:

Master’s degree in reading instruction OR advanced reading certification (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent)

Our 2-Hour Learning approach combines AI-adaptive technology with expert-led instruction to accelerate reading progress. Your role: create and facilitate brief, focused reading sessions that produce measurable improvements in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners—then help us replicate that model across campuses nationwide.

This is not about completing lesson-plan paperwork. It’s about data-informed teaching, technology partnership, and constructing a reading framework that serves thousands of students.

• Facilitating brief, focused reading sessions that build phonics, comprehension, and fluency competencies
• Creating personalized motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks
• Reviewing student performance data to refine teaching approaches and generate actionable insights
• Partnering with engineers to assess and improve AI literacy platforms based on classroom outcomes
• Building scalable, AI-enhanced materials that enable early elementary learners to reach grade-level proficiency

• Conducting 90-minute lessons or adhering to traditional curricula—students engage with academic subjects through AI-adaptive applications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master’s degree in reading instruction
• At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group reading interventions to K–2 students
• Skilled at assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre-written curricula
• Proficient with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behaviors within them
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses:
  Phoenix, AZ;
  Austin, TX;
  Fort Worth, TX;
  Plano, TX;
  Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
