BGI is seeking an experienced EHS Technician to support an active project site in Austin, TX
. The position requires onsite presence for the duration of the project.

The salary range is $83,000.00/hr – $/hr per hour. Pay is based on experience and skills.

• Conduct daily job site inspections to ensure compliance with EHS policies and regulatory standards.
• Monitor field activities for potential hazards and communicate safety expectations.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain thorough and accurate safety documentation and inspection logs.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and field training.
• Work closely with site leadership and field crews to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, company, and client‑specific safety requirements.

• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in construction.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS best practices.
• Strong observational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based, fast‑paced environment.
• OSHA 10 (Construction) required.
• OSHA 30 (Construction) preferred.

• BCSP certification preferred (e.g., CHST, STS).
• Associate’s degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
• High‑tech project experience preferred (examples: semiconductor, data centers, advanced manufacturing, cleanroom environments).

• Availability to travel as necessary within the United States.
• Pay is DOE (depending on experience).
• Must be able to remain on‑site in Austin, TX during the contract.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
