Our client, a leader in Environmental Health & Safety, is seeking a Technical Instructor to join their team. As a Technical Instructor, you will be part of the Learning & Development team supporting operations in ensuring a robust safety culture. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for workplace safety, and the ability to engage with diverse audiences, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Job Title: Technical Instructor
• Location: Austin, TX

• Develop and deliver technical EHS training sessions (classroom, virtual, and hands-on) on topics such as Lockout/Tagout, Electrical Safety, and Fall Protection.
• Facilitate onboarding safety training for new hires, contractors, and site visitors.
• Evaluate learner performance through knowledge checks and technical evaluations to verify safe work practices.
• Collaborate with EHS, Operations, and HR teams to identify training gaps and customize programs accordingly.
• Maintain training materials and ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.

• 3+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, Technical Training, or Industrial Operations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations.
• Experience facilitating technical or safety-focused training sessions for frontline workers.
• Ability to communicate complex safety concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or LMS platforms.
