We are currently hiring a Senior Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on engineering projects for high-tech enterprises, including design-build projects for industrial facilities, semiconductor fabs, and manufacturing environments. You will develop solutions for systems such as fluid transfer, heat exchange, ultrapure water, specialty gases, and wastewater treatment, ensuring adherence to specifications and project timelines.

The position is hybrid, requiring occasional onsite work.

• Lead design and development of complex process systems for industrial and high-tech manufacturing projects, including fluid transfer, heat exchange, and related systems.
• Develop and optimize water purification systems for critical manufacturing processes.
• Analyze and mitigate friction loss in piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Design treatment systems for solvents, acids, hazardous waste, and other effluents in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Design and oversee systems for handling and distributing specialty gases and chemicals.
• Create process flow diagrams, P&IDs, system layouts, and specifications.
• Implement innovative concepts to solve complex challenges, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Provide technical guidance and support to staff, ensuring project scope, budget, and schedule are met.
• Mentor and develop less experienced staff, fostering team growth.
• Promote collaboration within teams to ensure quality and resource sharing.
• Assist management with discipline capability requirements aligned with strategic goals.
• Participate in professional activities and publish technical work as appropriate.
• Perform field verifications and troubleshoot design issues during construction.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months.
• Experience designing fluid transfer, heat exchange, and water systems for industrial/high-tech projects.
• Knowledge of chemical process engineering principles and facilities engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit; experience with PIPE-FLO is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with field verifications and troubleshooting in construction environments.
• Salary range: $100,000 - $160,000/year, depending on experience and location.
