Base pay range: $/yr – $/yr
Location:
Austin or San Antonio, Texas.
- Oversee all phases of CMT projects, from proposal through completion.
- Coordinate field and laboratory testing for soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
- Supervise and mentor field technicians and project engineers.
- Review and approve technical reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Maintain client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project updates.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Enforce safety protocols and quality control procedures across all project activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and TxDOT standards.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
