• Supplier Selection – identify and select suitable suppliers based on quality, capability, pricing, delivery, and regulatory requirements.
• Supplier Qualification – develop and execute new supplier qualification processes including capability matching, risk assessment, self assessment, onsite audits, and database management.
• Value‑Added Engineering – review customer drawings and specifications, provide engineering proposals to optimize supplier manufacturing processes or products.
• Material Qualification – implement PPAP/FAI including FAI, material certificates, quality/process control plans, FMEA, MSA, process parameter sheets, RoHS compliance, reliability tests, COC, etc.
• Pilot Run Tracking – track new qualified parts quality performance during pilot run, drive supplier corrective action (1–3 lots) and transfer pilot run to mass production.
• Hot Issue Solution – act as subject‑matter expert to resolve supplier quality hot issues and troubleshoot.
• Annual Maintenance Audit – support annual maintenance audits for existing suppliers with SQE.
• Continuous Improvement – assist suppliers in using quality tools to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Change Implementation – handle ECO/ECN/SCR from customers, follow up status, coordinate PPAP/FAI when required.
• Quality Audits – perform supplier audits to ensure compliance with ISO and regulatory standards.
• Supplier Process Improvement – drive assessments of supplier process control plans, validate new processes, guide capability studies and design of experiments.
• Cross‑functional Collaboration – work with purchasing, engineering, and product teams to select, approve, and develop suppliers.
• Quality System Maintenance – perform supplier quality system audits, corrective and preventive actions, and research non‑conformances.

• Minimum 6 years of quality engineering experience with a combination of quality and supplier quality focus.
• Manufacturing background, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Experience with ISO standards, PPAP/FAI, FMEA, MSA, and statistical process control.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use statistical techniques for process improvement.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and supplier development.
