• Provide technical guidance and recommendations for completed lab analysis to the Manufacturing Plant, Reverse Osmosis Building, and Chemical Distribution Systems
• Must be willing to learn the process in the supported departments/areas
• Responsible for maintaining lab equipment: microscope, fume hoods, thermal ovens, particle counters, ICs, titrators, fluoride analyzers, balance, spectrophotometer, incubator, hot plate, and pH meter
• Responsible for maintaining field equipment:
  Thermal IC, titrator, analytical balance
• Coordinate scheduling of preventative maintenance and calibration for lab and field instrumentation
• Responsible for stocking reagents for instrumentation
• Ability to grab field samples for analysis
• Ability to use ION chromatography and interpret results
• Bacteria testing for reclaim system and Ultra‑Pure Water
• Active participant in supporting department meetings, capital planning, and expense budgeting
• SPC monitoring
• Data analysis
• Work within defined technical processes and procedures
• Initiate and drive continuous improvements
• Uphold area upkeep and 5S principles
• Collaborate cross departmentally, elevate as required
• Maintenance and creation of standard operating procedures
• Record keeping, reporting, as required

Shift: Monday through Friday

• Education:
  
  2 Year Technical/associate’s degree in chemistry or equivalent discipline
• Experience:
  
  2 years of work experience (lab experience)
• Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• At times bending and or crouching

• Education:
  
  a relevant completed vocational / professional training of at least 3 years
• Experience:
  
  3-5 years of work experience
