Responsibilities
  • Manage time, organization, and prioritization to ensure timely completion of project tasks.
  • Collaborate with staff to achieve project goals and maintain consistent project documentation.
  • Assist team members in utilizing state‑of‑the‑art CAD tools.
  • Document detailed technical assembly procedures for mechanical and electrical components.
  • Specify, verify, and procure system components.
  • Assemble, test, and conduct quality‑control inspections of electro‑mechanical components.
  • Review technical drawings and 3D models to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards.
  • Perform form‑fit‑function analysis using GD&T principles.
  • Design mechanical and electrical components, assemblies, and tools in detail.
  • Create and maintain library parts for assemblies and documentation.
  • Produce advanced drafting of project documentation, drawing packages, and engineering designs.
  • Perform other related functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • HS/GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient use of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
  • Six months of product‑development experience from concept to manufacturing and delivery.
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate documentation and quickly correct existing documents.
  • Professional experience interpreting and producing technical drawings per ASME Y14.5.
  • Capacity to manage overlapping projects with diverse engineering teams.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and effective prioritization.
  • Resilience under pressure, openness to constructive criticism, and rapid revision implementation.
  • Experience writing technical instructions.
  • Effective communication with diverse coworkers and clients.
  • Proficient use of email and collaboration/messaging platforms.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and strong teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Engineering or CAD‑Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Experience in mechanical design, specification, fabrication, and testing of mechanical assemblies, cable harnesses, and PCB assemblies.
  • Knowledge of manual and CNC milling, general power tools, and dimensional inspection with calipers and micrometers.
  • Familiarity with electronic assembly and diagnostic equipment (soldering, oscilloscopes, multimeters).
  • Experience in detailed design and analysis of complex mechanical‑electrical systems.
  • Ability to interface with machine shops and vendors for procurement of mechanical and COTS components.

  • Salary: $50,000–$56,000+ (negotiable based on qualifications).
