About the Role

Base is seeking a New Product Introduction Technician to support the development of new processes and carry out each trial exactly to the established product specification. This includes supporting the program from early prototype builds through to the launch of the production line.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in validating manufacturing processes to ensure product specifications are achieved
  • Support prototype build trials for new products and processes
  • Support quality assurance and procedures by testing and validating systems and parts
  • Take notes during trial builds to document observations and state of assembly
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to evaluate the best processes roll‑out
  • Provide feedback in change control meetings
Required Skills / Qualifications
  • Previous experience with pre‑production and prototype sample builds
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and mechanical drawings with basic understanding of electrical systems
  • Must have a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, married with the ability to work quickly
  • Must be reliable, have good initiative, committed, and quality focused and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, with ability to interact with multiple teams
