Engineering Technician Summer/Fall Co-Op (June ’26 – Dec ’26)

Responsibilities- Support a team of electrical engineers testing new semiconductor designs and designing custom PCBs.
- Assemble, test, and rework PCBs, cables, and wiring harnesses.
- Perform measurements and collect data using standard lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, arbitrary waveform generators, and logic analyzers.
- Maintain a wide array of lab equipment and supplies, including performing quarterly calibrations, facilitating equipment repairs, and procuring additional equipment as needed.
- Develop test equipment knowledge to assist engineers in selecting the appropriate equipment for their specific needs.
- Ensure lab safety and compliance with key quality standards, such as ISO 9001.
- Working towards an associate’s degree or certificate as an electronics or engineering technician.
- Coursework or experience soldering electronic components on PCBs (IC packages, resistors, capacitors, etc.).
- Coursework or experience in analog and digital circuit analysis.
- Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, power supply, etc.).
- Familiarity with circuit fundamentals.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages (C, Python, etc.).
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 – $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 – $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
