We’re actively looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong HVAC design experience to join a growing MEP team supporting commercial and residential projects. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants real project ownership, technical growth, and exposure across the full project lifecycle.
What You’ll Do- Lead HVAC system design for commercial and residential buildings, including load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork, and piping layouts.
- Prepare and review construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate closely with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams.
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, ASHRAE standards, and client requirements.
- Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration.
- Perform site visits and provide technical guidance during installation and commissioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of HVAC design experience within an MEP or consulting environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred (or actively pursuing).
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with HVAC load calculation software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and energy standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
