Job Description** AECOM
* * is seeking to hire a Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater for our growing Austin, TX office. The qualified applicant will have experience in water/wastewater engineering design and construction management principles, and will be familiar with the design, construction, and operation of municipal water and/or wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities- Manages one or more Water/Wastewater treatment plant, pump station and conveyance project(s).
- Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
- Manages all aspects of projects from start to close out including development of scope, schedule, budget and proposals, deliverables and quality adherence.
- Direct and manage the implementation of the project including coordination with project stakeholders, consultants, contractors and other external and internal parties to achieve project milestones.
- Mentor junior staff members to support them in their delivery on the project and in their professional development.
- Prepare technical memoranda, planning studies and final design calculations, plans and specifications;
- Manage project deliverable, budgets, schedules. Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
- Oversee and manage construction phases of projects to ensure works are completed in accordance with the contract documents, on time and budget;
- Ensure project work is undertaken in accordance with corporate health and safety policies and quality management systems;
- Prepare proposals and qualification documents in the interest of obtaining new assignments.
- Maintain client relationships; assist in identification and pursuit of business development opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS + 6 years of relevant Project Management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Professional Engineer License in Texas.
- 10+ years of experience in design of water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure.
- Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Experience with Central Texas-area clients.
- Experience working with clients in both the public and private sectors.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
- Flexible – can adapt to shifting priorities/work schedules.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $98525.64 to $182.
