Garver is seeking a CAD Technician to join our established Federal Services Team. This position will be responsible for performing a wide array of duties for civil/site projects including: initial project CAD setup, site layouts, utility layouts, rough grading, detailing, record drawing development, and coordination with multi-discipline  addition, the CAD Technician will be trained to conduct BUILDER SMS inventories and assessment to help our defense clients remain mission ready.

The CAD Technician must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills.

Requirements

* 0-3 years of drafting experience working in site development

* Associates or 2-year technical degree

* Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

* Strong communication skills

* Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook

* Prepared to learn BUILDER SMS

* Willingness to travel overnight

Preferred Skills

* Technical Knowledge and field experience with BUILDER SMS

* Plan/Profile development

* Storm and Sanitary Sewer pipe networks

* Development of existing and proposed surfaces

* Working knowledge of GIS software
