You and Your Role

You build the deep memory of the Verisoul system.

You analyze history, reputation, and long‑term patterns to catch sophisticated fraud that real‑time checks miss.

You design the intelligence layer that turns past behavior into future protection.

What You’ll Do

• Architect reputation systems. Build batch and near‑line pipelines to score risk across identity attributes (email, phone, ISP) and lay the foundation for a scalable intelligence knowledge graph.
• Deploy graph analytics. Apply network science—including centrality, community detection, and embeddings—to detect synthetic accounts and map complex fraud clusters.
• Develop probabilistic models. Engineer scoring algorithms that integrate historical reputation data and quantify uncertainty for dynamic entities like residential IPs.
• Innovate through data mining. Explore terabytes of historical data to invent new features and uncover evolving fraud patterns.

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years experience as a full‑stack engineer or equivalent.
• Big data engineering experience. You’ve built batch pipelines, data processing systems, or warehouses at scale.
• Entity resolution intuition. You understand how to link signals (email, IP, device, behavior) into cohesive identities.
• Mathematical grounding. Comfort with probability, entropy, or graph theory applied to real‑world data.
• Location requirement. In‑person, Austin, TX.

Who You’ll Work With

• Engineering Team:
  To define the logic and semantics behind risk scores.
• Platform Team:
  To expose intelligence cleanly through APIs and product surfaces.

Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 + Equity Grant

• Base Salary: $190,000 – $240,000 (all base)
• Equity: 0.2% – 0.4% with 4‑year vesting
