Amazon Corporate Network Engineering team owns the design, planning, and delivery of all Amazon corporate office network infrastructure. The Corporate Network Engineering Organization is looking for a Network Development Engineer to join our Core Engineering team. Network Development Engineers partner with our broader corporate network Infrastructure organization on configurations standards and tools, and collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to ensure fast, smooth roll-out of new designs and products, and also deploy and sustain networking software tools. Key job responsibilities
Wireless Network Development Engineers perform high quality network and/or systems operations, deployments, scaling, technology refresh, sustaining engineering, best practices application, optimization, internal/external customer interactions, and produce appropriate technical documentation.
- Design and build innovative, multi-vendor data connectivity solutions to support Amazon’s growth worldwide.
- Drive scaling current network designs to meet the demand of our customers
- Work with vendors and cross-functional teams for on-going design efforts and systems support.
- Work closely with our internal customers to help alleviate their problems and ensure our network continues to meet their demands
- Drive operational excellence projects to drive improvements in our network quality and reliability
- Work closely with our teams to assist in defining the tools we require
- Create simple processes that help operate and build our networkA day in the life Engineers in Corporate Network Engineering organization have a wide rangeof responsibilities: we work with internal partners to develop and implement the next gen platforms along with the tooling ecosystems to support with these platforms driving efficiency and scalabilitythrough the automation of builds, configuration deployment, and the scaling of capacity.
