Our client is involved in a major transportation infrastructure initiative focused on expanding rail connectivity throughout Austin, including connections between downtown and the airport. This is a high visibility program with an anticipated timeline of 6 to 8 years.

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Support a major transit infrastructure program, including expansion of new rail lines connecting downtown Austin to the airport and additional east west corridors.
• Partner with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables across complex infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance and evolving project conditions.
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and critical path impacts, providing mitigation strategies and recommendations.
• Perform schedule analysis, including critical path, float, and resource loading.
• Lead baseline schedule development, validation, and ongoing schedule management.
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodologies to support integrated project controls.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI to communicate project milestones, progress, and performance metrics.
• Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling insights to support project leadership and decision making.
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and internal scheduling standards.
• Manage competing priorities within a large scale, multiyear infrastructure program.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in project scheduling or project controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 required.
• Power BI experience required, including the ability to develop or maintain project reporting and dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, resource loading, schedule analysis, and baseline management.
• Experience managing complex schedules across large construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, and integrated project controls.
• Experience identifying scheduling risks and providing recommendations to project stakeholders.
• Experience with transportation, transit, rail, or major public infrastructure projects preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred, Not Required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, and senior stakeholders.
