We are seeking a new graduate Analog Circuit Design Engineer to design analog and mixed-signal IP blocks for mobile device SoCs. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in FinFET device behavior, analog and mixed-signal circuit design, low‑power techniques, and digital standard cells, and is eager to grow from concept development through production.

Key Responsibilities Define mixed-signal design architectures and design analog and/or digital blocks; document specifications and design assumptions.

Perform transistor-level feasibility studies and detailed performance analysis; propose and implement design improvements based on simulation results.

Model system-level digital control behavior to validate and optimize analog circuit functionality.

Drive layout reviews and provide clear guidance to layout engineers to achieve optimal performance, area, and reliability.

Perform tape‑out–quality design verification, including EM/IR and timing analysis; work with the ESD and reliability teams to ensure designs meet company quality standards.

Develop feasible and robust analog test plans suitable for high-volume mass production.

Coordinate with top‑level front‑end and back‑end integration teams to prepare required design models and collateral for seamless SoC integration.

Main Requirements and Qualifications
  • MS or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Academic or project experience with data converters, LDOs, or PMIC design.
  • Working knowledge of circuit design and modeling tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler, Spectre, AMS, MATLAB, Simulink, or similar.
  • Strong scripting skills in Tcl, Perl, or Python are required; experience with SKILL and shell scripting is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze silicon measurement results and correlate them to design specifications and performance targets.
  • This role is ideal for new graduates who are passionate about analog and mixed-signal design and want to work on cutting‑edge mobile SoC products in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
  • Salary range: $112,700-$160,700 annually
  • Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short- and long-term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications. In addition, Media Tek provides a variety of benefits including comprehensive health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, Sick Leave, Vacation time, Parental leave, 401K and more.
