Location: Austin, TX
Pay Rate: $75.00 - $90.00/hour (DOE)
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge automation, hardware systems, and test engineering projects? Join a collaborative team where you'll help design, develop, and deploy advanced custom solutions for customers worldwide while leading complex engineering initiatives from concept through implementation.
Job Duties- Design, prototype, test, and deploy automated hardware and test solutions
- Develop project requirements, technical specifications, statements of work, and bills of materials
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and engineering teams
- Manage project milestones, technical deliverables, and system readiness reviews
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software integration challenges
- Guide technical decisions and support issue resolution throughout project life cycles
- Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering Technology
- 5+ years of experience in electrical systems design, hardware engineering, or test engineering
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder able to support ITAR-related projects and qualify for DoD clearances
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, computer architecture, and instrumentation
- Experience with LabVIEW, Test Stand, C, C++, or C#
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams and support hardware/software integration
- Experience with CAD tools, PCB design, and statistical data analysis preferred
