My client is offering you an opportunity to increase and advance as an Electrical Design Drafter.

Contact me if you are an Electrical Design Drafter with at least with two years’ experience using AutoCAD Electrical and Solid Works Electrical software. We want to meet with you if you have the knowledge and work history in implementing the key concepts, through engineering, installation and services for the electrical design of industrial conveyor equipment used in warehouse/distribution facilities nationwide.

The Electrical Design Drafter must have current hands‑on experience utilizing the AutoCAD Electrical and or Solid Works Electrical program to draft electrical schematics and design a control panel for a system based on customer specifications, needs, and provided system layout.

NOTE:

You will have an opportunity to learn Solid Works Electrical as our next hire for this position.

The customer provides a layout of the system and then our team creates electrical schematics/drawings and designs the electrical control panel for the system based on its function requirements.

Responsible for creating all elements of the project drawing package including control system device layouts, control panel schematics, network layouts, conduit layouts, and bill of material.

This person must perform detailed design analysis including fuse sizing, breaker sizing, wire sizing, and short circuit analysis.

• Review project documentation and information provided by Sales
• Create all components of the design package utilizing automations within Solid Works
• Draft electrical schematics and design a control panel for a system based on customer specifications, needs, and provided system layout.
• Publish design packages after approval
• Publish As‑Built packages after approval
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned

• We prefer on the job professional experienced in related field.
• Vocational and college degreed candidates with at least two years’ on the job experience.
• Must be proficient and experienced in the use of Solid Works Electrical.

3+ years of experience using AutoCAD Electrical and Solid Works Electrical to draft schematics to match the layout and requirements of conveyor

• UL508A training and certification a plus
