Narrative designer PC​/console games

Nekki is a game development studio that creates games for mobile, PC, and consoles, with a focus on product quality and player experience. Its titles include the Shadow Fight series, Vector, SPINE, and Fight Me.

• Turn mission outlines into detailed narrative experiences by arranging story beats, choosing narrative delivery tools, and finding budget-conscious solutions to technical and creative problems
• Write dialogue, barks, lore notes, and other texts
• Script and implement narrative content in Unreal Engine 5, work on dialogue timing and delivery, and align story beats with gameplay
• Ensure consistency in characters’ speech, motivations, and behavior
• Collaborate with narrative designers, level designers, level artists, game designers, and sound designers
• Prepare and review voice-recording documentation

• English proficiency at C1 level or above
• Proven gamedev experience at middle level or above
• In-depth understanding of game writing, focused on cinematic, movie-like dialogue
• Scripting skills focused on dialogue integration and narrative content implementation, ideally in Unreal Engine 5 or similar engines
• Ability to work in a team, process feedback, and pitch and defend ideas and concepts
• Portfolio showcasing English writing and scripting skills, including multiple texts written in English and an implemented playable dialogue in UE5, Unity, Articy, Inky, Twine, or similar tools
• Fluent Russian communication
