Job ScopeThe Manager, Finance Transformation will be responsible for:
- Serving as Project Manager for key Finance initiatives, including but not limited to technology implementation, process harmonization, merger and acquisition support, and business support
- Leading process harmonization efforts across business units, legal entities and finance functions across North America
- Serve as key facilitator and assistant to Vice President Finance, North America
- Serve as project leader (PMO) for major finance projects, including Kaizen activities, technology implementations, M&A activity, and other identified projects
- Drive Finance project funnel from identification to prioritization to execution, working cross-functionally within Finance and with the broader organization as required
- Lead contact for all harmonization and implementation activities across various Finance functions and teams in North America
- Design and implement standard work to monitor and report on key project status
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and streamline accounting and finance procedures
- Own end-to-end process mapping of key finance workflows
- Assist with driving compliance with IFRS and implementation of new standards
- Monitor and prioritize continuous improvement of the North American Finance team
- Coordinate regular preparation and reporting tied to overall functional performance and project status
- Prepare ad hoc financial reporting requests, analyses and special projects requested by management
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations of accounting transactions and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
- Work on special projects and other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- 4+ years project management exposure / experience
- 4+ years public accounting experience, Big 4 a plus
- 2+ years supervisory experience in accounting
- 1+ years experience in manufacturing environment
- Certified Public Accountant preferred
- Self-starter, demonstrates initiative and ability to lead through change and complexity
