Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant

We are looking for a skilled mortgage loan officer assistant to join our top-producing team and assist our mortgage loan origination officers. This position requires a unique mix of sales and customer service skills, plus the ability to manage loan files from beginning to end.

• Assemble loan documentation for verifications and underwriting, including loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and other mortgage application paperwork.
• Handle all customer and in‑house inquiries about transactions to ensure a smooth process and excellent service.
• Act as the primary contact between clients and our company, scheduling and conducting meetings to discuss follow‑up issues.
• Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer or loan originator.
• Screen and make calls, book appointments, and provide administrative support as needed.
• Follow up on customer and in‑house inquiries on transactions to provide superior customer service.

• Local candidates only – relocation not provided.
• Previous mortgage experience required.
• NMLS license or training not required but desired.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; willingness to go above and beyond for customers and the team.
• Understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, and commercial loans.
• Proficiency in MS Office; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred.
• Preferably 2–3 years of administrative support in a professional office or mortgage environment.
• College degree in finance or banking preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Highly motivated and goal-oriented with strong customer service and communication abilities.

$47,500 + bonus
